About Rachel

Rachel Ludwikowski (b. 1999) is a New York-based abstract painter whose practice was born out of necessity. Discovered in college during one of life's more demanding chapters, painting offered what nothing else could: release. She works in both oil and acrylic on both small- and large-scale canvases, balancing a career in finance with a studio practice defined by scale and raw energy. Her paintings don't sit still. Sweeping gestures and bursting forms translate the weight and momentum of daily life into something visceral: a physical negotiation between pressure and release that you can feel across a room.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, and currently resides in New York City.
